An Inspirational Moment, Part 1

I have a dear friend that I've reconnected with recently. We're both rebranding our careers and our lives--so we bounce ideas off of each other and speak frequently. This morning I sat down to check-in with her and this is what I wrote:

"Good Morning!

It's a new work week, and it's Tuesday. Yesterday, we stood at home plate, swung the bat and hit the ball out of the park! I really enjoyed my son's double header this past weekend. The weather was beautiful--perfect for watching young kids play the sport they love the most.

So as I sit down at my computer and prepare to dive into the thing I love the most, I think--yeah, Tuesday is kinda like running to first base. Wednesday is second base. Thursday is third. And friday--the home stretch--is exactly like celebrating a home run!

Yesterday, I took a walk to the park and sat in the shade while reading a book. It was fabulous. I'm feeling so good these days, I wish I could bottle it up and share it with the world. I feel the passion of new romance, but it's about my work and how I spend my time. This is what Life Rebranded is about.

Anyway, when I sat down to write you an email, this was what I found on my heart.

And so I shared."
